On my way this morning to New Hampshire.  Spending the week with Rick Krane of Anglers Artistry working on a walleye mount.  Check back in the coming weeks for pictures of the finished product.

Fishing was rather slow, a small group of people caught 6-7 walleyes.  The biggest one was around 7#, smallest was 18″.  The weather was a major factor.  Monday night was 26 degrees, Tuesday morning was 16 degrees, Tuesday night was 42 degrees, and Wednesday morning there was a snow storm.  The fish cannot determine whether it is winter or spring yet.  Now it is time to get the boat ready and do some soft water fishing.

Will report when I have been able to get out on the water.

Heading to Sturgeon Bay to do some ice fishing. Check back later this week to see how the fish are biting.
